Keyboard Shortcut to Clear WordArt Styles

| Categories: Tutorial A faster way to accomplish the same thing shown in the previous post is to select text. Then CTRL + SPACE BAR. Wordart styles have all been reset!

Another useful keyboard shortcut to add to the list, thanks for that one.
An alternative button is the "clear text formatting" one which is on the Home tab > Font group (top right if you have two rows, bottom right if three).
This actually resets all text formatting of the selected object back to the master style (but leaves any formatting of the text box such as fill colour untouched).
If the master for that text box is formatted as WordArt, this button or the CTRL-Space shortcut will reset that style rather than lose it altogether. This is great when you try to tweak the format and then decide you should have left it alone (but don't necessarily want to reset the whole slide)
Oddly and annoyingly this does not remove 3D or bevel effects you have added.
The "Clear WordArt" button in the previous post will always do exactly that, overriding the master style back to plain non-WA text, so CTRL-Space is really the equivalent of clear all formatting, rather than clear WordArt because the behaviour is subtly different.
